Blackboard is the main course management system used by Concordia University-Portland. Faculty load course content in a confidential and class-specific manner, administer exams, deliver grades, and monitor discussion. Our libraries are always open — and the bookstore delivers

Full-text articles and journal databases are yours, with around-the-clock availability and 24/7 online libraries. And all of your textbooks are available through our partner MBS Direct with your student ID (G number).

Bookstore: We work closely with our textbook partner, MBS Direct, to guarantee you receive the best in education. The following directions walk you through how to order books for your classes.

  3. Review courses and required course materials listed.

  4. For each course material listed, choose an option, then select “Add Selected to Cart.”

  5. Select “Proceed to Checkout.”

  6. Review cart and select “Check Out Now.”

  7. Log into your account. (New users will be required to create an account.)

  8. Verify shipping address.

  9. Select shipping method.

  10. Choose payment option.

  11. Review and finalize order.

Do I have to follow a class schedule or can I take courses when I want?

The calendars reflect all of the start and finish dates for the upcoming classes. We set the time frame, and you choose when you learn. View the current class schedules.

What if I have account or technology questions?

How do I request a transcript?

You may request an official or view an unofficial transcript through your MyCU student account or visit the Office of the Registrar's transcript page for step-by-step instructions by clicking here.

How do I apply for graduation?

Submit your application to the Registrar’s Office by the end of your 5th course. Follow the proceeding instructions to apply, or contact your student services advisor for more information.

  1. Log into your MY.CU account

  2. Select “Student & Financial Aid”

  3. Select “Student Records”

  4. Select “Graduation Application”

How can I check my grades?

Students can view their grades for individual assignments in the “My Grades” screen in each Blackboard course. Official course grades and transcripts can only be accessed via My.CU. Finals grades will be available through My.CU within a week after each course ends. My.CU is the same website you use to accept financial aid and update personal information. Remember to use your CU ID number (Gnumber) and PIN to login to My.CU.

What if I have a question about my grade?

What is the Academic Standing Policy for Concordia online graduate students?

It is important that every student takes a moment to review the handbook and become familiar with our Academic Standing Policy. Students who do not successfully pass one course will be placed on Academic Probation. Failing two courses places you at terms for dismissal from the university.

Can I take two classes at once?

Our online MEd and certificate courses are designed to be offered in a specific sequence and build on learning in a logical order and are, therefore, taken one at a time. EdD students take two classes at a time in their first and second years.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from a university in Canada. Does this degree satisfy the prerequisites of enrollment for your university?

Your Canadian degree may fulfill the requirement of needing a bachelor’s degree. However you will be responsible for having your transcripts evaluated by a professional evaluation service in order to determine if your degree and grade point will meet our requirements."
