Can I take two classes at once?

No. Concordia University’s online courses are designed to be offered in a specific sequence and build on learning in a logical order. In addition, an important feature of our program is the use of a cohort model through which candidates interact and progress with the same companions and supporters throughout the program’s completion. For these reasons, simultaneous enrollment in two courses is not allowed.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from a University in Canada. Does this degree satisfy the prerequisites of enrollment for your University?

Daniel Ferguson, our Director of International Admission says: “I would say, no, we do not accept their transcripts as equivalent to our regional accreditation: In Canada, college accreditation is provided by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.” See http://www.cmec.ca for more information on Canadian accreditation.

Kelly, The requirements include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 2.8 or higher; however, if your GPA is lower you may be conditionally accepted. Thank you.

I am a CU-Portland MAT alum. Can I take one of these online classes in order to fulfill my continuing education requirement for TSPC? If not, are there better courses in the Ed dept for this?

Concordia alum and Oregon residents may take specified online courses to fulfill continuing education requirements. Visit our Graduate Education webpage where you will find program and coursework information specific to students living in the state of Oregon. We encourage you to speak with one of our admission counselors to ensure that the coursework you take will fulfill any future licensure or endorsement requirements.
