Mission

Our mission is to prepare leaders to the transformation of society.

As an accredited university, Concordia University pursues online learning with the same passion and commitment to excellence that has marked its 100-year history.

Concordia University Master of Education courses are rich in learner-to-instructor and learner-to-learner interactivity. We balance our accredited courses to offer learners maximized flexibility in terms of coursework completion, while encouraging the rigor that characterizes a quality, accredited (and often condensed) academic experience. Online Master of Education courses are seldom easier or less time-consuming than face-to-face courses.

Online Master of Education students form a diverse learning community that requires regular participation and nurturing to maximize the learning potential. The progress is really what you make of it. If you are looking for a correspondence course, where you can work in isolation outside of a structured schedule, Concordia University’s online courses are not a good fit for you. If, however, you are seeking a stimulating and intellectually challenging environment, from a university with regional accreditation, made up of motivated learners, who bring their flexibility to work together to achieve their learning objectives, our Online Learning Center is the right place for you!

Is Concordia University Online accredited in Indiana?

Jennifer, Concordia University is a 100-year-old institution, regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. NWCCU is the regional authority on educational quality and institutional effectiveness of higher education institutions in the seven-state Northwest region, and there are 5 other regional accrediting agencies. These agencies are equivalent; that is a program accredited by another accrediting agency is accepted as equivalent to that state’s or region’s accreditor; all 6 are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
